Flying to Siberia
On May 15th we were picked up by our driver and translator and taken to the airport. Our translator was wonderful even though she has been working with WACAP for only a month. She got us through checking all our baggage in. Paying the over weight fee and went as far as she could with us to Security. We said our good-byes(Dasvidania) and went on our merry way. It is a new airport, very clean, nice shops. A good place to wait for our flight. After an hour and a half wait, we boarded the plane. Our seats were all the way in the back, squished in like sardines. The lunch consisted of two different meats and some very salty fish with salad and dessert. More than what we are getting on the American airlines, but very different food to what we are use to. Not bad, just different. The flight was excellent, beautiful weather, no turbulence. I wonder what Novosibirsk will be like.
