It's A Rollercoaster Ride

We learned today that our court date will not be August 14th. There seems to be a problem with Galina's paperwork and that is the reason why our August 4th date was cancelled. We have been told that a total of 4 Ministry of Education letters from Moscow have all come back to Novosibirsk negative. Now we know why. There is a spelling error in the regional database concerning her paternal name. The Federal database has it correct, but they were not matching up. Galina was theoretically not available to adopt due to this error. Now that they know what the error is they are doing all they can to fix it, but we do not know how long that will take. At this moment we plan to fly out on Monday and spend three to four weeks in Novo. WACAP has an apartment that we can rent for cheap and we will be able to visit the girls. If it is going to be very much longer than a two week delay we will have to postpone the trip until later. How sad for all of us. This would be quite a hit emotionally.
