Dinner with Friends

We took the girls over to some friends house for dinner tonight. Zach, their 4 year old son had requested our presence at dinner. They are veteran parents so it was no problem for them, and our two little darlings did wonderful. Galina sat at the kid sized table with Zach and enjoyed a dinner together with some frequent glances at mama and papa. Valerie did fine sitting in a big chair and having mama feed her. Julie and Chris didn't have their high chair for her since it is at our house on loan, so is their crib. Dinner went great and then on to some outdoor time in the back yard. Julie has a water table and opened it up for them. Valerie proceeded to drink most of the water and get herself entirely soaked. She really is a water baby. Galina had fun too, but she kept her self dry mostly. They got to play with bubbles and Galina made her first goal at the soccer net and her first basket at the basket ball hoop. All toddler size of course. It was great fun for all and they all fell in to bed tired with only a few whimpers.
